Valerie Jennings' career spans over 25 years in Human Resources. She has managed and delivered training programs in leadership development, change management, hiring, diversity, and service delivery. Her expertise has been honed domestically and internationally, with significant roles in Toronto, Ontario; London, England; Auckland, New Zealand; and Sydney, Australia.
Valerie currently serves as the Executive Director of the Tolton Spirituality Center. Its mission is to usher in an era of renewed vitality equipping lay leaders with the strategies, resources, and training for a more mission-focused and community-oriented Church. Valerie's connection to the church is not just professional but deeply personal. She is a dedicated parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy/St. Giles parish in Oak Park where she serves as a Lector and an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.

El retiro para los diáconos y sus esposas ofrece un ambiente de paz y armonía para que pasen tiempo juntos, lejos de las distracciones y tensiones de la vida cotidiana. St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans Is perhaps one of the most complicated books of the New Testament and has long challenged the faithful. Yet his eloquent description of his own calling and its rootedness in his baptism is one of the more beautiful descriptions of what it means to live in Christ. What does it mean to be called? How does our baptism confirm us to Chirst? Join us as we explore the meaning of our own baptism and calling as detailed in the Letter to the Romans. The retreat will include presentations, group discussion, and time for individual reflection.
